About the Founder

Amit Kumar, the visionary founder of TrueLeaf Foundation, brings with him a rich and diverse background of working with multiple NGOs and implementing impactful CSR initiatives across India. With years of experience in areas such as skill development training, women empowerment, village development programs, health and sanitation improvement, and rural infrastructure development, Amit has consistently focused on holistic, ground-level change. His deep engagement with farming communities also led him to work extensively on increasing farmers’ incomes through integrated organic farming models.

Driven by a passion to create long-term, sustainable impact, Amit conceptualized the TrueLeaf Foundation as a platform to nurture thriving and self-reliant communities. At the core of TrueLeaf’s mission is the unique MEE framework – Monitoring, Empowering, and Employment. This approach ensures that every intervention is tracked for its effectiveness, communities are empowered with knowledge and tools, and local livelihoods are created to promote self-sufficiency.

Through TrueLeaf Foundation, Amit Kumar envisions a future where development is not just about aid, but about building capacity, dignity, and resilience within rural India. His leadership continues to inspire meaningful change in the lives of farmers, women, and youth across regions.
